Ty and I started a new YouTube Channel for juggling tutorials You must be logged in to see this link.
We occasionally get requests for help from people, often young jugglers who speak English as a second language or speak no English at all. Regardless of language, it is difficult to convey clear instruction by word alone. We usually video tape Ty Tojo's rehearsals so we decided to go back and record some of the basic exercises Ty does daily to maintain the base of the patterns and tricks he is working on. With a litte more effort we can edit and post them so people can see the pattern and not have to worry about words to explain. We just posted one of our first tutorials for Julien Lecrosnier in France. We didn't spend a lot of time producing it. It's not a fashion show or a slick commercial presentation. It's a bit of good juggling information that we don't mind to share with people who are struggling with juggling or who just want to improve! I know there are a bunch of whiners out there who will criticize the wrinkle in the curtain and the lack of fancy trimming. For the whiners... don't watch it! For anyone who needs a bit of help with juggling patterns there will be a growing number of videos on this channel that show the way we do it with some pretty fair results. Anthony can tell you that the base of every pattern is where juggling comes from. If you have a questionable base your sureness will deteriorate as difficulty increases. The base is everything, there are several layers of "bases" as difficulty increases. It takes many years of repetition to master each level.

Ahh whiners, they are ever present in the juggling community. But remember, it's usually the ones who have no real jobs as jugglers and more than likely never will.

It's nice of you an Ty to give back to the community. I'll keep checking those tutorials, perhaps they'll be something I can learn from as well, although it's hard to teach an old dog new tricks;)

I have really tried to grill in the importance of the base patters as well. Without complete control of them, your juggling can only go as far as Youtube and your editing skills will let you.

Thanks for the tutorials. I found them helpful. I tried doing some of the 4 ball exercises. I am starting to work on overheads some too, so I am referring to this tutorial and Anthony's for guidance.
