I saw Tony Duncan several times when I was a kid...also was at the IJA convention when he won it all. Performed with him in 2005ish in Chicago...he uses tennis balls that are partially filled with pennies. Not sure if he uses deordorant either:)
I just got back. It was a nice show. We had great seats, being the the center, third row back. I went with three other people. I dressed as Uncle Sam. Tony picked me and another one of our group to come on stage to hold a slack rope, while he juggled, knives and eat a piece of cheese on the end of one of them. My favorite part was the German Wheel. It was Tony, two guys, and a girl.
Tony didn't use tennis balls and I believe he is using deodorant, now.
"A successful individual typically sets his next goal somewhat but not too much above his last achievement. In this way he steadily raises his level of aspiration." ~Kurt Lewin
He has got to be pretty old now...he had to be 40 at least when I performed with him in 2005. I honestly really appreciate it when I see old jugglers who still "have it". Was there much dialouge in his act?
